Unlike usual Corporate Responsibility programmes where the Corporate provide mostly financial assistance to the NGO’s , Satvik’s culture is to be a part of solution building by actively participating in various Community development programmes.
One of the recent such community development programme for which Satvik Employees has contributed recently is Divine Karnataka Project (DKP) www.divinekarnatakaproject.org by Art of Living foundation in the state of Karnataka India.
DKP has emanated from the productionist approach to rural and urban slum development. It is based on a notion of the harmonious village community without any significant internal differences and conflict of interests. Its objective is to provide a substantial increase in agricultural production through organic farming and other self-sustainable programmes and improvement in basic services, which would ultimately lead to a transformation in the social and economic life of the village.
All Satvik employees contributes to this venture in one way or other, be it be preparing the corporate presentation , preparing the teaching curriculum etc and also contributing by financial assistance to various DKP sponsored progarmmes like Slum Development.
